Star Wars Perfect Grade Millennium Falcon 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit
About this deal
So...I’m hearing that one of the key messages here is to assemble it and then paint??? I’ve never really done this before - I’ve always found that painting as I assemble was a better strategy.
Bandai Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon 1/
The complex details on the top of the Millennium Falcon are precisely crafted. This level of detail is impossible to recreate in anything smaller than this 1/72 scale model. The base is coming along very nicely indeed. I do play spot the greeblies and I've got a few so far. I'll look again later when I have more time.

After priming and pre-shading, the first base coat is on. I chose Vallejo White Gray. Pure white would have been too cold for me. The idea was to let the falcon fly through a kind of halved tube. This will then be equipped with a Death Star surface, which I will create later.
Designed with total accuracy in mind, the kit is based on thorough research of the original-movie 1.7 metre studio model. It features faithful detail with no compromises! Theres a thread over at Starship Modeller about the likeliness of Bandai releasing a large scale Millennium Falcon model kit hopefully soon, the main topic being whether it will be based on the 5 foot Falcon or the 32" Falcon......and the likeliness that it would be a tie in with the new film coming out at the end of the year. I use the clear part. It's important to me to see the light reflections that the glass casts. There was no glass in the film, otherwise you wouldn't have been able to see the actors properly.
