Well, thanks a lot for the review. I like the way you describe and all. Best is the picture showing how large this is. I must say that no photo I have seen of the Casio Lineage series gives full justice to the beauty of these watches. A luminous coating provides long-term illumination in the dark after only a short exposure to light.

My Linages and WaveCeptors all arrived from Japan reading Mid. They all read Hi after charging and have stayed on Hi. The Lineage watches are solar powered and that makes the Battery Level Indicator particularly useful. It's amazing just how many variations there are for models with the 5161 module from the face colour, negative / positve LCD, Arabic characters on some, to incredibly subtle differences in the design of the hands and indices.
Elapsed time, split time and final time are measured with 1/100-sec accuracy. The watch can measure times of up to 1 hour. Homage Watch Lists: Audemars Piguet Alternatives | Breitling Alternatives | Grand Seiko Alternatives | Nomos Alternatives | Omega Alternatives | Rolex Alternatives
Nailed it!
The countdown timer emits a signal after a preset period of time has elapsed. The watch has a maximum timing capacity of 100 minutes and can be set in minute-long cycles.
I really like the white watch face...a lot...but wonder if it is 'too flashy' for the old guy that I am . The series represents the elegant men’s watch that fits any dress code and at the same time offers a number of key features such as Radio Signal Reception, Solar Power and Water Resistance. Nice review! Thanks for comparing both versions in such a detail. I own an lcw-m100tse as well as a lcw-m100dse. To me the titanium version is a bit more comfortable. Lighter, a touch warmer and the surface of the titanium looks a bit more expensive.
Spressy?
Unlike most all-metal watches at this price point, the Casio Lineage LCW-M510D feels surprisingly robust. The three pushers push with authority, with no play or slop to ruin the impression. The Lineage isn’t as adamantine as the entry-level Casio Oceanus– which costs twice as much – but it’s closer to reassuringly solid than worryingly flimsy. Thank you for your valuable info and detailed review. Recently, I was also interested to buy a titanium Casio Lineage LCW-M170TD-1AER or a LCW-M100TSE-1AER but in the end I got a Casio Oceanus OCW-S100-1AJF. I presume this is due to the fact that the orange one is a year or so older and its internal button cell is beginning to age.
