About this deal
In An Instant is a very moving novel about what’s forgivable if not forgettable. It’s nearly perfect, though I do wish a few of the teenage characters had made some other decisions at the end. But if I judged them for their actions, I would have missed the point. The circumstances change and while my heart remained engaged, my nerves had it a bit easier, though not completely out of the woods. It’s like the story changed… modes. From survival mode to surviving the aftermath (and real life) mode. I worried once I realized what was going on… that I had already just screamed it from the rooftops too fast AND I know some of my fellow readers aren’t into certain twists. I worried that I’d have some mad at me. 😉

Kim Rok Soo looks at a Cale Henituse that is most likely his past self, and resists the urge to bury his head into his hand and scream. No, he's a mature 40 years old team leader of the most active division of his company who can handle this kind of shit. He can't have a breakdown now after everything he's been through! Suzanne Redfearn's brilliant writing is some of the best I have read. She doesn't overuse words and descriptions where you find yourself fidgeting and yawning, her writing had me hanging on the edge and eager for each new word, sentence and chapter. I was mesmerized and that doesn't happen too often. The story pulled so many emotions from me and sadness with crying was certainly one of them and that rarely occurs while reading a book. I felt myself cheering for some characters while saying out loud to others No, No or Please don't. My goodness.... I can appreciate that “In An Instant”, has that ‘can’t look away’ thing going for it.... like one hell of a bad car crash — ( ha, there was a car crash)— but to go through the emotions, injuries and the loss of 10 characters is like suggesting family
I know that "at that instant" is the more correct way of saying it, but can "in that instant" work as well? A deeply moving story of carrying on even when it seems impossible. Life is over in an instant for sixteen-year-old Finn Miller when a devastating car accident ...

Suzanne Redfearn’s In an Instant is part ghost story, part love letter to a family in crisis after a devastating accident in the midst of a brutal snowstorm. This cleverly crafted novel chronicles a heartbreaking journey from grief and despair to one of acceptance, forgiveness, and ultimately hope. Through Redfearn’s luminous prose, In an Instant succeeds in building an unforgettable portrait of human frailty and strength in the face of unfathomable loss." - Heather Gudenkauf SOLVED!!! ---> The dark romance bully book where she was best friends with a bunch of guys and one of them assaulted her… years without any disappointment. Always 100% satisfied. You guys are the best in the world at what you do. Thank you so much :)" – Zubair Alam October 2023As the leader of the insurgency, did you ever hear of an instance in which Baltar stood up to the Cylons or tried to disrupt their plans? Choi Han*, a grim set to his mouth, with a gentleness so different from what Kim Rok Soo knew of him last, drags the Wolf King onto a sofa and urges him to lie down to get his wounds treated. His action spurs the rest into taking seats and treating their wounds as well. Lots of personal growth here, but not enough of… something for me, in terms of resolution and certain reactions that didn’t quite hit the level I expected, in the grand scheme of things. I had to suspend belief for some reactions, and I still have questions.
