Starting out Jade had the biggest grudge towards Amaya out of everyone, initially only seeing her as Bella's replacement. Even with her best efforts Jade remained rather bitter towards Amaya, being passive aggressive and dismissive of her ideas and plans for their shared runway project. This did eventually change however, as after Amaya revealed the Color Change Chamber Jade realized that Amaya is rather talented and is her own person, allowing them to see each other as equals and becoming friends. Jade is shown to be bitter and angry towards Colin, due to him cheating on some of her best friends Skyler and Ruby.
