Tips

When we first received this we filled it with tap water and put the jellyfish into the tank. They didn’t do anything...then we read the instructions! You do need deionized water, a squirt of washing up liquid, tap the jellyfish to get rid of bubbles, and then the magic happens!

Despite the name, liquid motion lamps aren’t really intended for use as a light source. They do contain a light bulb, but it’s used mainly to heat the liquid and wax components inside the lamp to create the distinctive motion.
