As a nail tech I’m always intrigued by new trends and crazes. Everyone had asked me about poly gel. I thought I’d give it a try. After 3 botched attempts I’m still unsure. I used the smallest amount hence the uneven colour but I made it long just to see how strong it was and it’s very strong. ( I used yellow first as it’s the least colour I’d use so I used it to practice)Lamp: perfect, nails set just fine, though I was careful to only use a petite size pea or a little bigger on larger nails. If you overload the forms, things get messy.

I have no experience doing nails so I was pleasantly surprised at how I was able to do my own nails using this product. I did not try the slip solution but instead got 99.9% alcohol to use as my slip solution. Asides that, everything else I used was from what was provided in the box. I did not attempt to do extensions as my nails are already quite long. I basically just used the poly gel to wrap my nails and act as an extra strengthening layer.
