Whereas physical power seeks to control others (by building wealth, fame, or political influence, for example), authentic power is power that is based on personal empowerment. The Seat of the Soul was very disappointing and I abandoned it after a couple of chapters and some fast skimming. As expected, Zukav starts by talking about biological evolution, but, unexpectedly, he completely misunderstands it, to the point that what he does is resurrect the idea of the chain of being, an idea which was old and hoary even by Elizabethan times (see E. And I know they make all this money not because they teach people to be nicer, but because they dress it up in a way that presses people's god buttons.Open yourself to this adventure and the experience will stretch your worldview and leave you determined to channel your thoughts and wishes into a dynamic force that can help you liberate your life.' If your addiction lingers, ask yourself if you really want to release it, because in your heart you do not.” Reading Paulette Jiles' revenge western Chenneville, it's easy to remember she's a poet. Lesson 10: Everything Is LoveIn the gardens of the world, seeds need fertile soil, water, air, and sunlight to grow. The soul is like a spiritual seed that lies dormant within us, until we nurture it. The seed lies dormant at the seat of the soul, between and behind the two eyebrows.
